The Jury
The Corporate Citizenship Award recognizes a company from the financial service sector for its outstanding contribution to community and its overall reputation as a responsible corporate citizen

This award is open to any financial industry firm or supplier/vendor to submit.
You must submit to win. Entry Period is now open. 2009 Submission Period is June 2009 to September 30, 2009. - EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 15, 2009

Awards Process/Criteria
The criteria used to judge this award are based on the principles and practices of good corporate citizenship.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  1. A commitment to corporate philanthropy and other forms of community support and investment, including volunteerism, gifts-in-kind, sponsorships, and donation of products and services.
  2. Contribution to the community through partnership with community organizations to address social challenges.
  3. The active engagement of the leadership of the company in promoting a culture of giving and volunteering among employees.
  4. Clearly stated policies and practices to ensure the ethical and responsible conduct of the business including the health and safety of individuals, the community, and the environment.
  5. Transparency and accountability in reporting on the company’s corporate citizenship performance.
This award is voted upon by a senior jury and is chosen from your submissions. Jury will take organization size into account during review.

An administration fee of $200 (plus GST) will be applied to each submission.
