DANIEL SOLOMAN

Daniel brings over 15 years of proven expertise in investment management and is noted for innovative market and product development. He joined BMO FG in 1996 and has since held a number of senior sales and investment management positions. Among his many accomplishments, Daniel developed a quantitative and qualitative research process, integrating an institutional database and field research to produce a recommended list of external funds for BMO branches. While reporting to the CIO, Daniel was responsible for conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of external investment managers, including manager searches and regularly monitoring activity, with a view to enhance fund performance.

In his role as Head of Investment Funds Research, Daniel is responsible for conducting detailed reviews of portfolios and mutual funds, and providing independent advice using the industry’s most advanced evaluation tools. As a member of the Portfolio, Action & Research Team, he also works with the team to build on their strengths, identify and act on growth opportunities, and develop superior investment strategies and solutions for your clients.

Daniel is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master of Science in Administration – Finance degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
