DAVID O'LEARY

David leads the investment fund research division at Morningstar Canada. He and his team are responsible for due diligence on investment managers. He shapes the strategy and tactics of the fund analyst team, and he is a member of Morningstar Canada's Investment Committee, which makes investment recommendations to institutional clients. David is frequently quoted in the media as an expert on the Canadian mutual fund industry, and he is a regular guest on the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) and the Business News Network (BNN). Prior to joining Morningstar in 2002, David worked for TD Canada Trust as a financial advisor. David holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto, an MBA from U of T's Rotman School of Management and is a CFA charterholder.
