There are six submission-based awards. IFIC Investor Education Award, Best Use of Technology, and Canadian Investment Marketing Award require submissions to be considered. The Best Discount Brokerage, Career Achievement, and Best ETF Initiative Awards do not require submissions for eligibility, however, the jury will consider all submissions received. In these cases, submissions are a way for firms to make the best possible case for their nomination(s).
Winners will be announced the evening of November 28th, 2012. While a firm can make more than one submission, a submission fee is required for each entry (except for the Career Achievement Award, where no fee applies). Proceeds from submission fees will benefit Morningstar’s official charity partner, MusiCounts. For more information, please click here.
The criteria that the juries consider for each award category can be accessed by clicking on the award name in left navigation menu. Submissions should address the criteria and may be delivered in any form (soft copy, hard copy, multi-media, in-person presentation, etc.).
